North Attleboro Park and Recreation has partnered with Kristen Cincotti of Fit To Be Personal Training to begin offering adult boot camp fitness workouts this spring! Boot camp is a varied workout that includes resistance and bodyweight training, high intensity interval training (HIIT) and cardio. It is appropriate for men and women of varying fitness levels, and modifications are available to accommodate for injuries or perceived strengths and weaknesses. Boot Camp is an ideal cross training addition to a current workout regimen and is an excellent way to get in a great workout with friends and shake things up a bit. The constantly changing style of workout will help ensure you never get bored. Participants need to bring a mat or towel, a pair of dumbbells, and water. Class will be held inside the rec room at the Mason Field house, and when weather permits, we will enjoy the fresh air outside at Mason fields. Join us this session for some fun and challenging workouts!
We are excited to work with Kristen, a local personal trainer, and small group fitness and boot camp instructor. Kristen is a Certified Personal Trainer through the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association) and the National Personal Training Institute. Over the last 15 years, Kristen has worked with clients one on one and in group settings. As a competitive obstacle course racer and ninja herself, she loves both competing and helping others learn obstacle technique as well. Her first passion though, was coaching outdoor boot camp style fitness classes and is excited to return to this setting here in North!
