Snapology Robotics and Themed STEAM - Pokemania (STEAM)
Snapology's mission is to provide children with an opportunity to engage in "playful learning" activities that will stimulate their creativity and spark an interest in learning. Our activities are designed to reinforce the core competencies and curricula being taught at each grade level. Research has shown that many of children’s best learning experiences come when they are engaged not simply in interacting with materials but in designing, creating, and inventing with them. Our activities offer students an environment where they encouraged to create and interact with materials and technology, enabling them to explore solutions through hands on playful learning. Explore our fun and engaging programs designed to stimulate creativity and spark an interest in learning. We offer a wide variety of programs so your child can always find something new to explore as they grow and learn.Spring Session & April VacationCreature Creator (Robotics): In this Snapology class, animal loving students will create their own creature inspired robotic models. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build insects, dolphins, gorillas, and much more. Your child is sure to have a wild time as they build, learn and play. (Grades K-2) Saturday Class from 9 AM to 10 AM starting March 28th through May 30, 2026 (no classes on 4/25 & 5/23)Developing Engineers – Mechanical Masterminds (Engineering): This program gives your student the tools they need to understand mechanical movement through the foundations of simple machines, physics, and engineering design. They will see moving parts up-close as they follow instructions to build various machines, then us the models to develop new design ideas, test out physics concepts, and even play games with their partners and classmates. Whether they are the creative-constructive type or prefer the inquisitive-deconstructive way of learning, this program is sure to spark their interests! (Grades 1-4) Mini-Figure Mania (Themed STEAM): During this week we will let you child play with our secret stash of mini-figures . . . . from movie characters to sea creatures to SpongeBob! Join us as we shrink ourselves to mini-figure size and create our own mini-figure worlds. Welcome to mini-figure mania! (Grades 1-4)Take one or both classes together for a full day during April Vacation (April 20-24). Summer Sessions Summer Sessions are available for half day week or full day week. Our programs are structured into 3-hour programs that are offered Monday - Friday. Pair two programs together for a full day experience. All full day participants will have an hour in between programs to enjoy their lunch and time with new friends. Morning sessions will be from 8:45 am to 11:45 am and afternoon sessions will start at 12:45 pm and end at 3:45 pm. Those staying the full day will have their lunches and have a recess time at the playground (weather permitting) from 11:45 - 12:45.July 6 - 10 (2026) AM Session: Super Structures PM Session: MegaMachines July 20 - 24 (2026)AM Session: SpaceWars PM Session: Mining and Gaming Superstructures (Architecture): Can you design the next Taj Mahal? Come create and build the future using LEGO® bricks in Snapology's new and exciting Architecture class! It's never too early to foster your child's engineering and building skills in this super cool program. [Grades 2-5] MegaMachines (Robotics): In Snapology's Mega Machines class, your child will create some of their favorite motorized vehicles. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, pulleys, cranks, and programming as they build trucks, space rovers, helicopters, and much more. Your child is sure to have fun as they build, learn, and play. [Grades 2-5] SpaceWars (Robotics): In this Star Wars and space inspired class, your padawan learner will explore the basics of robotics while digging into their favorite parts of space and the Star Wars movies - the machines! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. May the force be with them as they build and grow! [Grades 2-5] Mining and Gaming (STEAM): Travel to the Nether with Snapology but watch out for those creepers! Come join us as we bring Minecraft® to life using LEGO® bricks. Create your own world, including animals, creepers and your very own Minecraft® character. [Grades K-5]Please note: In order to ensure the affordability of Snapology programs, children do not get to keep or take home their projects; however, we capture their creative achievements through photography, allowing parents to admire and cherish their creations.
