Summer Playground Program (SPP) is an eight-week program that takes place at the Community Field playground. The hours of the program are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. SPP is an eight-week program with a fee of $600 per child. SPP is scheduled to start on Monday, June 23rd through Friday, August 15th. There is no SPP on Friday, July 4th. Extended hours will be available if 10 participants register for each morning and afternoon sessions.
Morning Session is from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM ($125) and the afternoon session ($500) is from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. To participate in both the morning and afternoon session of extended hours the fee is $625 per child. The program is open to all North Attleboro residents that will be entering grades 1 through 8 in the fall. Participants are placed in groups by grade. Activities include swimming (at town Pool) twice a week, arts & crafts, board games and many group sports.
There is no SPP on Friday, July 4th .
Due to construction at Community School, We will only have access to the gym on rain days. There will be limited activities on rain days due to space issues.
Lunches are NOT provided. There is an option to have lunch provided for an additional fee. To have lunches provided it would be a fee of $185 for the full summer.
Field Trips are offered throughout the summer program. Field trips are optional and require an additional fee per trip. Field trips are divided by grade group and two buses (80 kids) are taken per trip.
Registration begins on the 1st Saturday of April (April 5th) at 8:00 AM and is available until the program is full. At this time, we will be only registering 250 participants TOTAL.
At time of registration, payment is due IN FULL. Payment plans are available in office only - please call to set up an appointment.
Immunization records will be needed to register for SPP. Forms can be updated to your registration form or dropped off at Park & Recreation at Mason Fieldhouse.
Summer Playground is for North Attleboro Residents only.
Tiny Tots is a three-day program for children enter Kindergarten or second year of Preschool. Children's days will be scheduled with Arts & Crafts, outside games and inside activities. Tiny Tots is held at Community Field on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Tiny Tots will have access to the WWII Pool once a week (Wednesdays), we will be swimming in the small pool that goes from 3 inches to 3 feet. Lunch is NOT provided by the North Attleboro School Department. If you would like to purchase your child's lunch through the school department it would be $14.75 per week for Tiny Tot lunches. Children may bring their own lunch if they choose too. Children must be 100% potty trained. There are no field trips (no Kid’s Day) for Tiny Tots.
Tiny Tots registration will begin on Saturday, April 5th. Tiny Tots may be signed up weekly or for the full summer. Full Summer program is $600 and starts June 24th through August 7th. Tiny Tots by Week is $150 per week and Week 1 begins July 8th.
