9:00 AM - 3:30 PM    Summer Zoo Crew - Zoo Crew Week 1 July 16th to July 20th
THE ZOO PROGRAM  or “Summer Zoo Crew 2018” is designed to offer a unique experience for  children entering grades 4 through 8.  Children will explore the life of a zookeeper by caring for and learning about the zoo animals.  The WW I Memorial Park Zoo has many resources to provide participants with a hands-on opportunity to learn about animals and their habitats.  Our goal is to help children gain a new respect for animals as well as the environment in which we all live.  Campers will also enjoy everyday camp activities like kickball and board games. Given the hands-on nature of this program, children should wear sneakers and comfortable clothing.   A bag lunch is required every day except Friday, which is “Pizza Day.” FIELD TRIPS :  Every Wednesday we will take a field trip to a different zoo or location in the area.  Each child will be given a Zoo Crew t-shirt which must be worn on field trip days.   TIMES:  Our program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.  Field Trip days will be Wednesday of each week. COST:  The cost of the program is $200 per student per week.
